Falsterbo Bird Show incorporating The Honey Buzzard day

Falsterbo Bird Show arose from "The Honey Buzzard Day" which was organized to make people aware of the need for the protection of birds and to create opinion against hunting that threatens our migratory birds, especially around the Mediterranean. The Honey Buzzard Day has been a regular event on the last Sunday in August since 1992. Nowadays, the event takes place on the first Sunday of September and marks the end of the Falsterbo Bird Show.
